Here's Where You Can Serve and Get Involved

 

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

 

Mission Outreach
Christ Centered Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom both domestically and around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We currently support twelve missionary works. They are the Voice of the Martyrs, Alabaster Box International, Child Evangelism Fellowship, the American Bible Society, the Jewish Voice Ministries, the Assemblies of God Foreign Missions, Glory Riders Ministry, Haiti Missions, Holt International, Campus Crusade for Christ, El Shaddai Children's Home and Mission Gate Ministry.

 

Music
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir-ensemble. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

 

Ushers
The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

 

Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are broadcasted live on the internet and services are recorded on CD. We also maintain active YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds for additional church communication.

 

Prayer Intercessors and Altar Workers
Prayer cannot be underestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, before morning worship, a prayer team assembles to pray for the service. These trained individuals also assist with altar work in praying with individuals who are in need.

 

Ages 0-11
Kidz Church is a fun and secure environment where children and families receive love, excellent teaching, personal relationships and an example of a healthy Christian Walk. Your child will be cared for and taught the Word of God with excellence. Our policies provide a fun, safe and secure environment where all volunteers are interviewed and background checked. Children are required to be checked-in and checked-out with a security pass held by a parent or guardian. Our Kidz Church has: fun Services, engaging music, and age appropriate Bible lessons (we use the Answers in Genesis Answers Bible curriculum).

Men's Ministry
The men of Christ Centered Church invite you to join them on the third Saturday at 8:30 am for their monthly breakfast. Check out the church calendar for the location.
They also participate in bible studies as well as other activities.

Women's Ministry
The women of Christ Centered Church invite you to join them on the first Saturday for their monthly get togethers. They also participate in bible studies as well as other activities. Check out the church calendar for time and location.

Celebrate Freedom

The purpose of Celebrate Freedom is to find God's healing power for all areas of our lives through the delivering power of the Holy Spirit. Through prayer, dedicated obedience and Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually, gaining freedom.

The Human Kindness Project

The Human Kindness Project distributes free clothes, furniture and food to those in need within the Lincoln County area. This outreach ministry is vital in displaying to the world that followers of Christ are the hands and feet of Christ.

Ages 12-18
Christ Centered Youth 180 is the youth group of Christ Centered Church. They are a God-loving group of teens who enjoy having fun in life. Even though our teens go to different schools and may have different perspectives of the world, they understand and respect the value each teen has and know that each of us were put on this earth for a specific purpose. Teens from 6th grade through 12th grade come together to encourage one another, glorify our Lord and Savior and learn how to make our own lives more Christ like.
